Relax & Reinvent

Remodeling and redecorating can be intimidating, but we can help reduce your anxiety.  We have created a hiring guide to help you understand how an interior designer can save you time and costly decorating mistakes.  The hiring guide explains how interior designers earn an income, gives you a high and low price comparison of common design project rooms, helps you develop a project budget, and offers helpful tips.  Peruse the guide at your convenience and feel free to share it with friends.

The first step to a more functional, beautiful home is hiring the designer, and it's always a difficult decision. Once that is taken care of, you will have more free time to do the things you need to do, while we handle the stress!  Our job is to be your design BFF; the person who stands behind you, giving you strength and confidence when you need it, so your home improvement goals are achieved more quickly and efficiently.  Renovating is hard work!  Even we, who renovate professionally, cannot fathom taking on a full-time job, a full-time family, and a full-time renovation.

At the initial appointment we'll chat about what works and what doesn't.  We talk about your frustrations, what you want to keep and what you don't.  We take a brief tour, and talk about the design options that may suit your needs.

Once you are comfortable with your decision to move forward, we'll take detailed measurements, design a floor plan, and present options for surface materials such as, paint, cabinets, flooring, window coverings, and lighting.  We will show you images of the completed project before it begins.  We can even help you interview contractors.
